NICKLEVETT

Nick Levett is a National Development Manager for Youth Football at The FA and an important contributor in the development of the game in England having led the FA Youth Development Review. This has involved implementation of a national change management process for evolving the game, working with internal and external partners to influence policy and to start to change the mindset of adults involved.

Nick is also a part-time Academy Coach at Fulham Football Club where his role focuses on the development of the next generation of talented young players. Understanding the climate of talent development, appropriate to the age of the player, is vital and Nick is a firm believer that good coaches are ahead of the game, constantly striving for more, through reading, watching other coaches and looking how we can use information from other domains and contexts to improve the learning of young people.

Nick has supported the development of young people over the past 15 years and will ensure by the end of the coaches involvement on the S-2-S programme, they will leave encouraged to help children be better people and better players.
